Do you need a local cell phone? Want help making a local phone call? Advice on the closest Internet cafe?
Want advice on whether bus, train, or taxi is your best option for a transfer or excursion?
I can advise you of a transit strike, and how to avoid complications on your arrival or departure.
Do you have a special hobby or interest? World War I or II? Costume or fabric design? Real lace-making or other handicrafts? A particular artist and his masterpieces? Special religious observances? I can give you suggestions on where to find people or places that relate to it.
Medical situation. Lose a filling? Pulled a muscle? I can find you help.
Shopping: Looking for a special present, for you or for someone else? Venice is full of beautiful and original gifts that go beyond glass and masks. But if glass and masks are your thing, I can help you find something unusual that will not be like what everybody else brings back.
